The Machinery Manufacturers Association (MIB), which has been active in the machinery sector since 1990 to protect the interests of domestic machinery manufacturers and to support domestic machinery production, has issued an important message on market surveillance and inspection of machines that do not comply with safety and safety standards.
In a statement made by the LGA, it was emphasized that CE legislation was the basis for the establishment of the safety and security of the machines.
In the message issued by the LGA, the following statements were included: “The Machinery Manufacturers Association (LGA), the Machinery Manufacturers Association (LGA), believes that further inspection is required for CE marking of the basic technical legislation of machinery manufacturing and supports the work carried out within the Ministry of Industry and Technology in this direction. Market surveillance and inspection of machines that do not comply with safety and safety standards is of paramount importance. Uncontrolled machines contain significant risks to human and environmental health. In order to eliminate these risks, in short, the safety and security of the machines are based on CE legislation. The introduction of machines carrying risks that may cause fatal hazards should not be allowed. Employees' health, safety and security is more than just a waste of time and cost.
The CE audit practice on the agenda is aimed at preventing unsafe, unsafe and unsupervised imports and domestic manufacturing, and supports the work carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology on behalf of the LGA sector. Only the criteria such as price, delivery time, and low-cost and fast trade, the efforts of the users to buy the cheapest machine, unfortunately, our industry is not fully conforming to CE and directs the import of domestic cheap machines. These preferences reduce the chance of competitiveness of domestic machines that are fully compliant with CE legislation. Non-CE-compliant machines lead to fatal accidents, serious hazards, inefficiencies and major economic losses.
Trade wars, protectionism and domestic production is supported by the current world agenda in Turkey's domestic market as other big countries and towards domestic producers to the protection oriented policies and self-especially poor quality and protection against uncontrolled machine from the Far East is quite natural.
