The first phase of the Konya metro will start from Necmettin Erbakan University Köyceğiz Campus and will be completed in Meram Faculty of Medicine, Beyşehir Road, Eski Sanayi, Yeni Gar Station, Fetih Street, Ahmet Özcan Street, Chechnya Street and Meram Municipality. The tender and contract for the first line of 21,1 kilometers was completed. The metro, which will consist of 22 stops, is planned to be completed in 35 minutes. Thus, an easy transportation will be provided for citizens between Meram and Seljuk. With the completion of the second stage, Konya will have covered a very important distance. The entire Konya metro will be built underground and will be completed in 4 years
