Kocaeli TransportationPark Buses Ready for Winter; 1 December Within the scope of mandatory winter tire application starting from 2019, TransportationPark, a subsidiary of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, has started to replace summer tires installed on buses with winter tires with 'snow crystal' symbol accepted by the European Union. Summer tires of the vehicles were changed one by one in the tire maintenance and repair workshop in the beach road garage and the vehicles were prepared for winter conditions.
WINTER CARE IS ALSO OK
The mechanics in the maintenance and repair workshop, which prepares the vehicles for the winter, carry out antifreeze control of the vehicles, battery cleaning, air, oil and oil filter replacement, heating and air conditioning maintenance, disc lining replacement, internal and external surface controls. In addition, the general controls of the vehicles are carried out in accordance with the occupational safety rules.
ADDITIONAL MEASURES TAKEN
In case of breakdowns that vehicles can live in harsh winter conditions, the emergency vehicle will be intervened by providing transportation to the location where the buses are experiencing a failure. In this season's change, citizens will be able to provide comfortable, convenient and timely transportation.
