TCDD Deputy General Manager Öner Özgür and his delegation examined the works of Bandırma Bursa Ayazma Osmaneli High Speed Train on site.
There are 55,7 tunnels with a total length of 15 meters and 524 viaducts with a length of 12 meters.
The physical progress of the project, whose infrastructure works are ongoing, is 50% and it is planned to be completed in 2021.
Bandırma-Bursa-Ayazma-Osmaneli High Speed Line It is aimed to facilitate transportation between metropolises such as Ankara, İzmir, İstanbul and Bursa and to reduce travel time. With the completion of the project, the existing operating problems on the outline will be eliminated and a direct connection between Asia and Europe will be achieved to the same standards.
Another objective is to provide a safer and more comfortable transportation by reducing the problems such as traffic accidents and air pollution due to the high density of road transport in the region.
