THREE POCKS ON THE STREET OPENED

The three mobile stops built on Salim Dervişoğlu Street, which was used as an alternative to D-100 highway in Izmit city center, were built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science Affairs. Built on the street, these pockets have single lane and two smart stops, both to make it easier for public transport to pick up and drop passengers and to keep the public transport flowing. With the work carried out, public transport vehicles make and receive passengers in newly built pockets without disrupting traffic.

TRAFFIC DENSITY REDUCED

Citizens who want to go to Başiskele, Gölcük and Karamürsel districts pass Adim Menderes, Mimar Sinan and Turgut Özal bridges to Salim Dervişoğlu Street. Public transport stops on the street to pick up and drop passengers, causing traffic density. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has built new mobile stops to reduce this density and ensure that public transport vehicles can easily pick up and drop passengers.
