Air Quality Measurement in Istanbul Metro; Air quality measurement was performed in Istanbul's subways. The results are below the limit values.
Metro İstanbul, one of the subsidiary companies of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), has been operating the Kirazlı - Başakşehir Line Metrokent Station, Yenikapı - Hacıosman Line Yenikapı Station, Üsküdar - Çekmeköy Line Çarşı Station and the wagon on M2, M3 and M5 lines PM 2.5 and PM 10 made the measurements.
PM expresses in small particles from the 2.5 2.5 microns in diameter in the atmosphere is currently no standard in Turkey. The World Health Organization (WHO) has set an upper limit of 25 mg / m3. The results of the measurement stations and wagons are as follows:
