Ekol Logistics, which continues its growth in the international arena, has signed a long-term cooperation with Italian UBV Group. Ekol, aiming to increase service quality by expanding its branch and distribution network, will develop its transportation activities in Italy at UBV Group organization from 2020.
UBV is the market leader in international groupage transport with a turnover exceeding 130 million euros and operates with its own facilities in all important industrial areas of Italy.
Evaluating the cooperation of two ambitious logistics players in the European market, Ekol Chairman Ahmet Musul stated that UBV Group and Ekol, which has more than 60 years experience in the sector, have similar characteristics and said that they want to create a long-term future for both companies' employees and customers.
Noting that the cooperation is very important for Ekol's strategic development in the European market, Mosul said: “UBV has its own plants in the key industrial areas of Italy. Ekol's customers will benefit from the facilities here and increase productivity. We are creating a new service quality in the most important locations of Italy with the combination of UBV's local knowledge and presence in the region with Ekol's logistics 4.0 strategy and customized solutions. ”

Within the scope of the cooperation, Ekol will support the development of UBV in the countries where it operates. In addition, Ekol will increase operational excellence by providing installation in UBV's existing offices. According to the growth plans of both companies, the order, which is now 150 thousand per year, is planned to be increased to 300 thousand orders per year within three years. The deliveries will be made between Turkey and Italy 96 hours.
