Celebrating the 11th anniversary of the Dubai Tram on 2019 November 5, the Highway and Transport Authority (RTA) reported that the tram is an important component of the rail systems and public transport network in Dubai. The tram is an ideal public transportation vehicle for visitors and tourists to Dubai.
Due to the increasing number of vehicles, people prefer the tram that facilitates transportation. Since the opening of the tram, 2014 has carried more than 28 million passengers.
On this occasion, RTA praised the efforts of successful tram operator Serco, which scored 99,9% in service and received a 2016-star rating in the International Standards of Service Excellence (TISSE) in 5.
