Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyerannounced that the Çiğli Tramway project has been submitted for approval.

Mayor Soyer stated that the first line of Çiğli Tramway will be 3 meters long and consist of 500 stops. He noted that the second stage of Çiğli Tramway will be 4 meters long and consist of 7 stops.

1. stage: Karşıyaka Çevreyolu Station - Ataşehir - Çiğli stations underground Neighborhoods - Çiğli İZBAN stop - Çiğli Regional Training Hospital
Stage 2: Ataşehir Mahallesi - Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone - Katip Çelebi University - Ata Industry - Çiğli Regional Training Hospital (Is Sondakikaizm)
