BTS TCDD General Manager met with Uygun in his office

United Transport Employees Union Headquarters and Branch Executive Committee members visited TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun.

At the meeting, TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun wished success in his new position and conveyed his thoughts and suggestions on the problems experienced in the institution.

The written statement made by BTS about the interview is as follows;

“On the basis of the struggle of the United Transport Employees Union in the transport business since 1991, the employees and the interests of the organization are our common point and priority,

163 annual railways is the most established institution of our country and especially in recent years, the public has become accused with accidents,

It deteriorates from the merit and competency scale in the appointments of the institution and this situation deteriorates the business peace and performance,

The warnings made by our union regarding the opening of the investments as a result of political pressures before completing them in integrity are not taken into consideration and frequent accidents occur,

Mobbing was applied to the control staff who intervened in the deficiencies in the investment projects and was dismissed from the control organizations (İzmir-Manisa HHT line).

It was proposed to announce the lodging commissions before gathering, to re-establish the combined Road and Facilities Departments as a result of the restructuring. It was expressed by the General Manager.

Mr. Ali İhsan Uygun, Mr. General Manager, expressed his thoughts and projects about the institution and wished for mutual dialogue.

In order to share the constructive thoughts and criticisms about the institution, it was also stated by our union that it is important to keep the dialogue path open and to use this channel to the end.
