Gazprom Export supplied liquefied petroleum gas from the Russian Federation to the People's Republic of China for the first time as part of the export preparations from the Amur Gas Processing Facility under construction. In the beginning of November, eighteen freight wagons filled with propane-butane technical mix were delivered to the Manzhouli gate station.

The Amur Natural Gas Processing Facility, which Gazprom is establishing in the Eastern Siberian Region on the Chinese border, will be one of Russia's largest and one of the few gas processing plants in the world after its completion in 2023. The plant, which will have a production capacity of 42 billion cubic meters per year, will process natural gas from Yakutistan and Irkutsky gas production centers. Processed natural gas is planned to be exported to China through the Power of Siberia pipeline. Amur will also include the world's largest helium production facility.
