25 November 1899 The delegation of the Ottoman Ministers, 10 after hours of negotiations, approved the Anatolian-Baghdad Railroad Convention. According to this; 8, the German railway company with German capital, built railway from Konya to Baghdad and Basra during the year. No part of the line could be transferred to another entity without the approval of the Porte.
25 November 1936 Afyon-Karakuyu line was opened by Prime Minister İsmet İnönü.
