Kocaeli's Karamürsel, Gölcük and Başiskele districts use public transportation vehicles and alternative to the D-100 highway Izmit Salim Dervişoğlu Street to make vehicle traffic on the mobile stops are being built. The first one was built at the Halkevi station and the second one was built by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality at the stop next to the Mimar Sinan Overpass. With the second mobile stop, Salim Dervişoğlu Street became more streamlined.

OPENED IN SECOND POCKET

The second mobile station built on Salim Dervişoğlu Street, which is also used as an alternative to D-100 highway in Izmit city center, was built by the Department of Science Affairs. The second mobile stall was built 100 meters tall and 7 half a meter wide. While the width of the road was made as 4 meters, the pavement construction of 2 and a half meter width was realized. The middle median was made in the form of a meter width 30 meter length. In line with the works, 90 cubic meter filling, 208 ton PMT, 125 ton asphalt and 55 cubic meter concrete were used for pavements. With a single lane and two smart stops, the pocket also built an 270 meter-long pavement.

TRAFFIC DENSITY WILL DECREASE

Citizens who want to go to Başiskele, Gölcük and Karamürsel districts pass Adim Menderes, Mimar Sinan and Turgut Özal bridges to Salim Dervişoğlu Street. Public transport stops on the street to pick up and drop passengers, causing traffic density. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is building new mobile stops to reduce this density and ensure that public transportation vehicles can easily pick up and drop passengers. In this context, the cell station was built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality to the stop next to Halkevi and Mimar Sinan Overpass Bridge. In the coming days, the Metropolitan Municipality will also build a third pocket stop next to the Turgut Özal Overpass Bridge.
