Shared by General Manager Keskin's Twitter account (@dhmihkeskin):

With the Approach and Square Control Services provided at Atlanta Airport, which has 5 runways, which is the first airport with the largest number of passengers in the world, we made a visit to Atlanta Airport to identify landing and take-off applications on site at the same time.

We completed our inspections at the Approach Control Unit at the Atlanta Airport tower and observed the operations in live traffic on the spot.

Afterwards, we visited MITER, a research and development organization affiliated with MIT in Washington, working on airspace, approach procedures and noise and risk analysis in many countries outside of America such as Doha, Singapore, Dubai, Germany.

Here, we have carried out examinations that we will be proud of once again with our own domestic and national resources. We have worked on the process management of researches, each of which is a doctoral dissertation, to increase the capacity of our Istanbul Airport in the most efficient manner.

With our triple parallel runway operations, MITER, one of the most respected companies in the world, received full marks.

Triple runway operation will take place at Istanbul Airport, our pride source for the first time in the world outside the United States!
