Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Public Transportation Department and TransportationPark A.Ş. provides public transportation services by 93 buses in different routes across Kocaeli. Citizens residing in the districts in line with the demands of reaching the metropolitan arrangements are made. Accordingly, route changes were made on lines 254 and 59. While the last stop of the 71 line, which was changed, was the West Terminal, as the Tüysüzler Storage Center, the line 71, which operates as üy Tüysüzler-Beyhan-Gültepe-Cumhuriyet Park ”, was canceled.

LINE ROUTE REGULATION WITH NUMBER 59

The route of the line working as üy Tüysüzler-Turgut-Cumhuriyet Park ile with the sign numbered 59 was reorganized as üy Tüysüzler-Turgut-Atatürk Boulevard-İzmitkent Houses-Traffic Branch Directorate.. With the new arrangement, the last stop of Cumhuriyet Park was extended as Devran Street and Necati Gençoğlu Cultural Center. In this context, citizens living in Tüysüzler District, Turgut District and Observatory; M.Ali Pasha, Üçyol, Old Istanbul Road, Asri Cemetery, Izmitkent Houses, Tuana Houses can be reached with a single vehicle. In addition, the density of 33 line vehicles will be reduced for citizens traveling between Izmitkent residences and the city center. Finally, citizens using 59 vehicles will be able to use 58 line vehicles from the Railway Station and Republic Park transfer points free of charge.

LINE ROUTE REGULATION WITH NUMBER 71

The route of the line, which works as “Tuysızler-Beyhan-Gültepe-Cumhuriyet Park” with sign number 55, was reorganized as “Tavsantepe - Bekirdere - Üçyol - State Hospital- Republic Park-Gultepe-Tuylessler” with sign number 71. With the new arrangement, line 55 was canceled and the last stop of line 71, which was the Western Terminal, was extended as Tuyuzler Storage Center. In this context, citizens residing in the Tuysuzler Mahallesi, Beyhan Sokak, Gültepe and Fatih neighborhoods; M.Ali Pasha will be able to reach Üçyol, Bekirdere, Lime Pits and Tavsantepe region with a single vehicle. Our citizens who use line vehicles number 71 will be able to use line vehicles 111 and 126 with free transfer from Leyla Atakan Street Police Station and Cumhuriyet Park transfer points.
