The academic committee consisting of 6 people under the rectorate of Karabuk University made a trip to China within the scope of “R & D cooperation protocol imzalan signed with CRRC-MNG company in October 2018 and upon invitation of the company.
Within the scope of the trip, KBU academicians; CRRC carried out examinations in many units of the Zhuzhou Locomotive factory, such as vehicle production lines, testing and certification units.
The delegation also participated in the Railway Industry Forum, organized by the CRRC, with expert engineers and academics from China and other countries. In the forum, Deputy Rector representing KBU. Dr. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yaşar made a presentation titled Fat Fatigue Improvement of High-Speed Railway Components “.
The academic delegation also visited China International Rail Transit & Equipment Manufacturing Industry Exposition fair and held cooperation meetings with participating rail system manufacturers and academic participants about rail systems. University of Birmingham Rail Systems Research Center and UKRRIN Director Professor. Clive Roberts also met with the delegation, the two universities agreed on the cooperation between the two universities.
