Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues to build walkways to many points of Kocaeli. In this context, the Park Garden and Green Areas Department, Kartepe Walkway, starting at the junction of Brissa Junction and ending at the Köseköy TCDD Underpass and a thousand 200 meters of the second stage of grass plantation and afforestation was made next. Within the scope of the study, a total of 7 thousand 638 square meters of grass was laid on the part next to the second stage walkway. In addition, grass laying and afforestation activities were carried out in the refuges at the end of the walkway.

7 THOUSAND 638 METER SQUARE GRASS LAYED ON WALKING ROAD

The Metropolitan Municipality is building walkways to many points of the city in order to enable citizens to walk with their families and do sports by their hearts. The teams of the Metropolitan Municipality, who have done their work in a dedicated way, are the members of Kartepe Walkway 2. stage and the iron railings in the area between the grass laying and afforestation work carried out. The creek next to the hiking path was deteriorating in breeding work and the floor being removed was hard. A thousand 200 meters long area was filled with 5 thousand 151 cubic meters of soil. After filling the soil, 7 thousand 638 square meters of grass realized.

524 PLANT PLANTS

In line with the studies, different species of 524 saplings were planted in the greened area. An automatic irrigation system was installed to keep the seedlings and grass planted in the field green. In addition, two fountains were built for the benefit of citizens walking and doing sports on a thousand 200-meter artificial grass walkway.

CARDBOARD WALKING ROAD 6 THOUSAND 81 METERS LONG

Kartepe Walkway, with a length of 6 thousand 81 meters, offers citizens the opportunity to walk and bike for health. The first stage of the walking path is between the thousand-meter-long Yahya Kaptan Mahallesi - Köseköy Brissa Intersection. The second stage is located between Brissa Junction - Köseköy TCDD Underpass at 200 meters. The third stage starts from the TCDD Underpass and extends over Leyla Atakan Avenue to İstasyon District for a thousand 300 meters. The fourth stage continues from Leyla Atakan Street and continues for 491 meters and ends on Menderes Boulevard. Fifth, starting from Menderes Boulevard, continues for 2 thousand 90 meters and ends in Sarımeşe Mahallesi.
