Kazakhstan Railways Inc. (KTZ) Vice President Pavel Sokolov, the delegation, TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun and TCDD Transportation Inc. General Manager Kamuran Yazıcı visited 10 October 2019 at TCDD General Directorate on Thursday.
The meeting focused on the increasing cooperation between the railway companies of the two countries and the developing cooperation in the field of railways. China reaching out to Turkey and our country to be in transit loads with reciprocal steps to be taken on issues such as international container transport partnerships were discussed.
China Railway Express, the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITAN)) will reach out on November 5 2019 from China to Turkey.
During the meeting, it was decided to organize a welcoming ceremony for China Railway Express, which is the first freight train that will continue in the direction of Europe using Marmaray Tube Passage.
The development of rail freight transport volume between Kazakhstan and Turkey and the revitalization of the BTK line made out of the meeting highlighted the completion of the transmission of consensus on matters of mutual good wishes.
