Transport and Infrastructure Minister M. Cahit Turhan stated that the construction work for the 106-kilometer Bursa-Bilecek HT Project on the Bursa-Bilecik (Osmaneli) line continues in the Bursa-Gölbaşı-Yenişehir section.
Turhan said, “Tender preparations for the infrastructure works in the Yenişehir-Osmaneli section and the superstructure and electrification-signalization-telecommunication (EST) system on the Bursa-Osmaneli line continue. Within the budget facilities, it is aimed to complete the tender processes until the end of this year and start test drives in Bursa-Yenişehir in 2022 and complete the project in 2023. When the Bursa-Osmaneli HT Project is completed, transportation on both Ankara-Bursa and Bursa-Istanbul line will be approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. ”
Turhan, Gebze-Sabiha Gökçen Airport-Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge-Istanbul Airport-Halkalı He pointed out that the new railway is 118 kilometers long and that the projects of the high speed train line have been completed and preparations are underway for the construction tender.
Reminding that the foundation of Gaziray, which will provide modern suburban service in the comfort of metro on the Başpınar-Oduncular line in Gaziantep, was laid last year, Turhan added that the infrastructure, superstructure, electrification and signalization works of the project, which will be implemented with the cooperation between the General Directorate of TCDD and Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, continue.
