Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues its road maintenance, repair and renovation works in the city. In this context, Başiskele district Doğantepe Neighborhood İstiklal Street was renewed by superstructure work. Within the scope of the works carried out by the Department of Science Affairs, a thousand 400 meter long asphalting work was performed. Istiklal Street is also used by the citizens as a group road that provides connection between the villages of Başiskele and Kartepe districts.

SUPERSTRUCTURE HAS BEEN RENEWED IN THOUSAND 400 METERS

In line with the superstructure work, a thousand 400 meters of asphalting was made on İstiklal Street. 4 thousand 500 tons of PMT was laid in the direction of the study and 2 thousand tons of asphalt was used. The road, which also includes soil improvements, has been expanded to a half-meter width.

STUDIES WILL BE COMPLETED IN SHORT TIME

The works initiated by the Department of Science Affairs on July 28 were carried out with the devoted work of the teams. İstiklal Street road, which was deteriorated due to natural gas and water infrastructure works, became more comfortable after the works.
