During the meeting titled Ulaşım Transportation Başkan, President Ekrem Yüce met with bureaucrats at AKOM and said: “We handle transportation on a wide range such as new double roads, smart intersections, signaling systems, bicycle roads, new entrance gates to the city and rail system and we are continuing our works for concrete steps. Taking into account the increasing number of vehicles in traffic, we started our preparations for new moves. I hope we will bring a new breath to the transportation of Sakarya ”.

Ekrem Yüce, Mayor of Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, met with bureaucrats at AKOM for new projects to be gained in Sakarya in transportation. Advisor to the President Dr. Mustafa İsen, Acting Secretary General Ali Oktar, Deputy Secretary General Assoc. Dr. Furkan Beşel, Head of Transportation Department Ömer Turan and bureaucrats attended.

Process for transport projects started

The meeting was discussed in addition to the ongoing transportation projects of the city and new investments to be implemented. Mayor Ekrem Yüce stated that they will expand the transportation network of Sakarya and solve the needs with modern steps. “We have started our preparations to bring lasting solutions to the transportation future of our city. We talked with our bureaucrats about the new projects we will implement in transportation and the ongoing works. I have to say; we will take the necessary steps for transportation urgently. I hope we will bring a new breath to the transportation of Sakarya ”.

Number of vehicles 287 thousand 147

Mayor Ekrem Yüce stated that they have handled a wide range of transportation such as new double roads, smart intersections, bicycle roads, new entrance gates and rail system to the city. The number of vehicles in our city in Turkey showed an increase above the average. TurkStat recently announced that the number of vehicles registered in traffic 287 thousand 147. These increasing numbers require us to take new steps in transportation. We will take the transportation in a holistic way and we will guarantee the transportation future of Sakarya with new investments ”.

New transport moves

Mayor Ekrem Yüce shared the details of the meeting he held in the title of transportation as follows: ız We will take concrete steps in terms of rail systems. We also continue our feasibility studies at the nostalgic tram point we shared with our city before. In order to ease the traffic flow, we will build smart intersections at some points and we will streamline the traffic with signaling systems. We will make transportation in Sakarya more healthy and reliable with new double roads, connection and ring roads, bicycle roads and buses that will be included in our transportation fleet.
