Düzce Mayor Dr. Faruk Özlü examined the sample applications at the construction site within the scope of the project prepared for “İstanbul Caddesi”, the heart of Düzce. Mayor Özlü said that Istanbul Street will be organized to meet the expectations of all citizens.
65. Government Minister of Science, Industry and Technology and Mayor of Düzce Dr. Faruk Özlü examined the sample applications prepared at the construction site within the scope of “Istanbul Street Project”.
Mayor of Düzce Faruk Özlü visited the construction site to examine the samples prepared for the new project on Istanbul Street. Vice-Presidents Cengiz Tuncer and Celal Kasapoğlu accompanied by the managers of the unit during the study tour of municipal resources and bicycle and pedestrian path production practices were examined. Examining different pontoons and wrought iron railings applied in the surrounding cities, Mayor Özlü also consulted on the application of the bicycle path for the tramway on the street.
Evaluating the details of the project to be implemented along the street, the delegation also exchanged ideas about the results of the meetings held with the relevant institutions and organizations. President Özlü also made a brief explanation about his study trip and said, “We evaluate every possibility in detail in project implementation. Issues such as the safety of pedestrians and how to use the bike paths in emergency situations will also be considered in the project implementation. So pedestrian traffic on the street will be taken under control. We consider alternatives for the passage of ambulance and fire trucks. Istanbul Street, which is the heart of the city, will be organized to meet the expectations of all our citizens ”.
