Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, ending the phaeton activities in İzmir province with the decision of the General Assembly of Izmir Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), bought a total of 36 horses and 16 phaetons and brought them to İzmir Wildlife Park.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which has terminated its carriage service in the Alsancak-Kordon region through the IZULAŞ Horse Carriage Plant since May 1, canceled the "Carriage Working Principles and Procedures Directive", which was implemented in previous years with the decision of the General Assembly of Izmir Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME). Carriage transportation had ceased in İzmir province. After the completion of the legal regulations for the city Karşıyakaİzmir Metropolitan Municipality, which ended the activities of 16 in Selcuk, 12 in Selcuk and two in Dikili, brought 32 purchased horses and 16 phaetons to Izmir Wildlife Park.

Horses brought to Izmir Wildlife Park are regularly cared for. We feed our horses with alfalfa mix feed and other additives. At the same time, we have installed automatic irrigation systems to drink completely clean water. Living areas are also cleaned regularly. ”
