Nurduvan Aktürk, a mother of 58 years old, had taken the train to Istanbul to buy the materials to sell in the market. A few minutes after the train moved in the rainy weather, a terrible accident occurred.

In the disaster, in which 25 people were injured and 340 people were killed, Aktürk's body, whose wagon came out of the train with its own means, and was taken to Çorlu State Hospital with a tractor that it reached by passing through the mud, was infected.

Having undergone a long treatment process and surgery, Aktürk started to recover by taking psychological support and was caught with cancer.

CANCER Caught AFTER THE ACCIDENT

Nurduvan Aktürk, who had difficulty in making a living because he could not do his job, could not get the prosthetic arm he needed because the injuries experienced after the accident were not eliminated. Nurduvan Aktürk, who has suffered cancer and received chemotherapy treatment on the problems he has experienced, tells that he is a woman who has worked throughout his life and says that he cannot open a single bag alone. 'TRAIN PASSENGERS HAVE NO INSURANCE'

Nurduvan Aktürk's lawyer Erkan Behçet Arıkan stated that TCDD did not have any seat insurance or a collateral system to protect passengers at the time of the accident. However, since citizens traveling on the train are always at risk, the trains and the citizens they carry are in need of an insurance system. ”

'TCDD AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION HAS NOT RETURNED TO OUR NOTICE'

Stating that the citizens who were damaged in the accident had filed compensation cases in the Consumer Courts due to the purchase of tickets from TCDD, Lawyer Arıkan said: “We first notified the victims of TCDD about the damages and the amount of compensation to be paid. However, we have entered the litigation process because no response has been given by the institution. The cases are pushed into a vortex of duty-disagreement. Although the courts in charge have been stated as the Consumer Courts in the Dispute Court decisions made on the subject, the court dismisses the cases by claiming that they are non-responsible in the cases opened in the Consumer Courts and states that the court in charge is the Administrative Judicial authorities ”.

4 TCDD EMPLOYER LAUNCHED
