Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented many giant transportation projects, is carrying out road maintenance, repair and renovation works in the villages as well as the city centers. Concrete roads were built in Izmit district Gedikli and Zeytinburnu villages whose roads were deteriorated due to the infrastructure works carried out by ISU. With the superstructure works carried out, the comfort of Gedikli and Zeytinburnu village roads was increased and the satisfaction of the citizens was ensured.

4 THOUSAND 850 METER CONCRETE ROAD

The Department of Science Affairs, which continues to work intensively on Izmit district village roads, built 5 thousand 93 meters long concrete road by using 4 thousand 850 cubic meters of concrete in Gedikli and Zeytinburnu villages. In line with the studies, 4 thousand 800 meters long V channel was constructed and 900 cubic meter concrete was used in V channel construction.

2 THOUSAND 100 METRECUBE STONE WALL BUILDED

Within the scope of the works, 2 thousand 100 cubic meters of stone walls were built in the villages. 900 meter long asphalt road was built in Dombaycı and Mollaoğlu locations of Gedikli and Zeytinburnu villages. Thousand 37 tons of asphalt material was used on the asphalt road.
