Varsak-Otogar stage of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality 3. Etap Rail System Project continues at full speed. Excavation support works have been completed in the Sakarya Boulevard part of the tunnels passing under the Bus Station Junction, and the excavation of the West Gar Station, the only underground stop of the system, is underway. On Dumlupınar Boulevard, preparations are made before the rail laying.

TUNNEL MANUFACTURING UNDER THE LOCATION 27 METERS IN PROGRESS

Excavation of the 27 meter section on the Sakarya Boulevard side of the underground tunnel (NATM) of 1300 meter depth and 960 meter length, which will allow the tram to pass the Bus Station Junction from underground, was completed and the concrete work started. Excavations of the underground station called West Station reached 30 percent. Excavations on the Dumlupınar Boulevard side of the NATM tunnel, which will connect Dumlupınar Boulevard and Sakarya Boulevard, will begin in November.

TREES MOVED BY TRANSPLANTATION

In addition to the tunnel works, the studies towards Akdeniz University are continuing. Approximately 3 km from the bus station to the entrance of Akdeniz University Meltem, the trees in the central refuge of Dumlupınar Boulevard were removed by transplantation system and moved to the storage area of ​​Gürsu Department of Parks and Gardens. Trees that are being taken care of here will be transferred to other areas later.

RAILS WILL BE FOUND IN OCTOBER

Infrastructure works are continuing at full speed before the rails are laid in the Otogar-Meltem stage. Rain water drainage line manufacturing has been completed in 2 km area which will be located under the tram line. Work continues on the 1 km section. Substructure manufacturing is expected to begin rail assembly and line concrete production in October.

2 PIECES OF PEDESTRIAN TO BE MADE

Within the scope of 3.Stage Rail System Line Project, there will be pedestrian overpass with escalator and elevator at two different points between Dumlupınar Bulvarı-Ulusoy Street intersection and Akdeniz University-Gendarmerie.
