Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Mehmet Cahit Turhan, Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train (YHT) project passing through Yozgat and the rail section of the ongoing part of the review.
Mehmet Cahit Turhan, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, stated that the works are continuing in Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train (YHT) Project and said, yakın I hope we will start test drives on this line by the end of this year. Then we plan to open this line to traffic step by step. ”
Ankara-Sivas YHT Project in the town of Yozgat Akdagmadeni Minister Turhan who examined the construction site, then joined the study of Sorgun district rail welding.
Minister Turhan, in a statement he made here, said that they received information about the construction works from the contractor companies of the project and said, “We are approaching the end step by step. In this project, rail laying has accelerated. Between Yerköy and Sivas, 100 found approximately kilometers. Between Yerköy and Kırıkkale, we started the rail laying works. A section of the 8 kilometer was also completed there. ”
Expressing that the works will proceed faster then Minister Turhan said: “The 404 kilometer Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Line has an 66 kilometer length 46 tunnel structure. There are 27,5 viaducts with a length of 53 kilometers. 611 bridges and culverts and 217 underpasses and overpasses were built within the scope of this project. Total artwork 930 pieces. 100 million cubic meters of excavation was carried out in this project. 30 million cubic meters of fillings have been produced. ”
Minister Turhan explained that the infrastructure works have been completed to a great extent and said:
“We continue to work on our viaducts and tunnels and will be completed in the coming months. By the end of this year, I hope we will be starting test drives on this line. Then we plan to open this line to traffic. We are one of the 6 countries in Europe and 8 countries in the world. In the previous years, we introduced the Ankara-Istanbul line and the Ankara-Konya line with high-speed train service. Here, I would like to thank everyone from the worker, engineer and technician to the project engineer who provided this service. Of course, Mr. President is at the beginning of these services. We are also trying to achieve the goals 2023, 2053 and 2071 have shown us. Our aim is to serve our nation. To give him the quality and standard of living he deserves. ”
