After the transportation hike in Kocaeli, the new tariff started as of today. In Izmit, 3 has reached the city transportation.

In the September meeting of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) 5, public transportation fees increased between 8 and 10. After the Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Tahir Büyükakın signed the UKOME decision, the tariff rate has started to be implemented as of today. With the new tariff, Izmit city transportation cost increased from 2.75 TL to 3 TL. The tram was 2 lira.

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Sea Transportation was also raised. The total fee between districts was increased from 3,30 TL to 3,75 TL, discounted fee from 2,45 TL to 2,75 TL, and student fee from 1,75 TL to 2,00 TL.

TIME TO TRAM

The new fare for the tram was announced. Full tram fare from 1,75 TL to 2,00 TL, discounted tram fare from 1,25 TL to 1,50 TL, and tram student fare from 1,00 TL to 1,25 TL.

TAXIMETER FEES INCLUDING TIME

Taximeter opening fee was increased from 12,5 TL to 3,50 TL by making 4,00 increase. The distance to the commercial taxis fees 16 percent increase 3,00 TL 3,50 TL.
