Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will be organizing colorful activities during the European Mobility Week. Bicycle enthusiasts will pedal on Caddebostan Beach to overcome obstacles.

Every year since 2002 - 16 - 22 September is celebrated as European Mobility Week to encourage public authorities around the world to develop sustainable and green transport measures and to raise public awareness. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will contribute to the awareness of this special week by saying Ped We Pedal Together to Overcome Obstacles ”. The event will take place in collaboration with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Boğaziçi University Erasmus Student Association and Rota Cycling Club.

Kadıköy The event, which will be held on 18 September at Caddebostan Beach, will be organized between 11:00 and 13:00. 20 volunteers and 25 visually impaired students from Boğaziçi University Erasmus Student's Network students will come together. University and visually impaired students will cover the distance of 5 kilometers by using tandem bicycles in the organization where 6,5 national athletes will contribute.

EVENTS WILL CONTINUE DURING THE WEEK

IMM will organize activities in different parts of the city due to European Mobility Week.
