The State Statistics Service (Gosstat) reported that in the January-July period of 2019, Ukrainian transport companies increased their freight transport by 8.5% to 386.5 million tons compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to the data, in January-July 2019, rail freight transport (Domestic and international) was transported by 0.9 million tons of cargo rail, decreasing 152.1 by%.
Forest products transportation decreased by 59.5%, construction materials 22.8%, iron scrap 16.4%, coke 13.7%, coal 5%, iron metals 4.0%, cement 5.8%.
However, transportation of petroleum and petroleum products increased by 6.4%, iron and manganese ore 4.7%, chemical and mineral fertilizers 24%, grain and cereal products 24.8%. (Ukrhab is)
