Trabzon Erzincan High Speed ​​Railway Line

Mehmet Cahit Turhan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, who came to Trabzon for the Those who Add Value to the Economy Award Ceremony, gave important detectives on Erzincan Trabzon Railway.

Minister Turhan said that they started the works of Trabzon-Erzincan High Speed ​​Railway Line. Physical progress has been achieved to a certain extent. When this project is implemented; We will have a new train line between Trabzon and Erzincan with 200 km length, which is suitable for 248 km speed with double line, signal and electric hour. This line will serve both freight and passenger transport. Thus, we will add great value to the economy of Trabzon and the region.

Noting that they have invested more than 13 billion 103 million TL for transportation and access investments to Trabzon, Minister Turhan said, “This amount is 741 billion TL, easy to e-language across the country. What did we do? To give an example, with the investments we made, we increased the divided road length of our city to 151 km with an increase of 224 km. We extended the length of the BSK paved road with an increase of 332 km to 414 km. We have also completed the Coastal Path, which returns to the snake story. Thus, you have best seen that the road is movement and fertility. See, the biggest obstacle to the tourism potential of our city and region was the limited and troubled transportation facilities. We have largely left this problem behind. The name of the Black Sea has not changed with the roads, bridges, tunnels, viaducts we have built, but the black baht has become ak. Of course, we still have a lot of work to do. Our roads connecting our city to neighboring provinces have been completed to a great extent. The works on the roads connecting the city center to our districts through the coastal road continue. We are also raising the standard of our roads, which serve the places with tourism potential and settlements in the inner parts. We are building Kanuni Boulevard to alleviate the city-centered traffic density on the coastal road. ”

Referring to the works of the Zigana Tunnel Minister Turhan, “An important project is the Zigana Tunnel and Connection Roads on the Trabzon-Gümüşhane State Road. This project is vital for the economic future of Trabzon. Our city is the most important center and port of the Eastern Black Sea. With the Zigana Tunnel project, transportation will be much easier with the east and southeast of our country. ”
