Paint and plaster blasting on concrete surfaces was made and made ready for necessary repairs and painting. If there is no deterioration of the cracked concrete surface, the cracks are repaired by injection method. For larger cracks, concrete repair mortar is applied by stripping. Teams will also make the final layer of paint ready for use.

In a statement made by the Department of Science Affairs, “Concrete repair material is cement based and will be reinforced with one component polymer and fiber and smooth finishing will be provided. Concrete surfaces made ready for painting shall be painted in accordance with the original color. When the maintenance and repair of the historical Sakarya Bridge is completed, it will be made available to our citizens in a more robust and powerful manner without deteriorating its originality ”.
