General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) and Chairman of the Board Hüseyin Keskin visited the 3 runway area under construction at Istanbul Airport and received information from the authorities about the works.
Sharing on his official Twitter account on the subject, our General Manager Keskin used the following expressions: I made inspections on the 3rd runway construction of Istanbul Airport and got information from the relevant people.
With the launch of the 3 parallel independent runway close to the domestic terminal, taxi times will be considerably reduced, and air traffic capacity will hopefully increase from 80 airplane take-off to 120 per hour.
Istanbul Airport, which has opened a new page in our aviation history, will continue to support our efforts to complete all phases on the scheduled date.
