Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues its road maintenance and repair works in the city. Within this scope, Başiskele district Doğantepe Neighborhood İstiklal Street is being renovated by superstructure work. As part of the works carried out by the Department of Science Affairs, asphalting was carried out on the 700 meter of the road. Istiklal Street is also used by the citizens as a group road that provides connection between the villages of Başiskele and Kartepe districts.
WORKING ON THOUSAND 400 METERS
The superstructure work is carried out at the thousand 400 meters of İstiklal Street. Asphalt production of 700 meters is thrown while asphalt production of 350 meters continues. In the 350 meter section, soil improvement works are carried out before paving. Renovated road 6 is half a meter wide.
STUDIES WILL BE COMPLETED IN SHORT TIME
28 by the Department of Science launched in July, work, teams will be finished in a short time with devoted work. İstiklal Street road, which was deteriorated due to natural gas and water infrastructure works, will become more comfortable after the works.
