Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), the urban public transport fee tariff determined. Public transportation fees have not been changed for two years and have been revised to be valid from 26 August 2019. In the new regulation, a reduction of up to 50 has been realized in the fare tariff of those who constantly use public transport.
In Kayseri, public transport fees were last changed on 26 October 2017. In the 22 monthly period, the cost items of public transportation operations, especially fuel, maintenance and labor, have increased. In this respect, the demand of the bus operators in public transportation for a long time to reorganize their ticket prices has been evaluated on the Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) agenda.
As a result of the UKOME meeting, the public transport fare schedule was redefined. According to the new fare tariff, some items have been increased, while those who use public transport continuously have discounts. As a result of the increase in the number of monthly boarding passes on the contactless subscription cards, the boarding fee of the contactless subscription full card was reduced from 140 TL to 2 TL, and the boarding fee of the contactless subscription card was reduced from 1,14 TL to 1,15 TL. At the UKOME meeting, it was decided that the transfer and transfer of subscription cards cannot be made.
