Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality continues the road construction project in Maltepe, which will significantly ease the traffic between Başıbüyük and Samandıra. Within the scope of the works, the current road in Kemer Sokak Hayat Water region will be closed to traffic for 20 days.
With the road project between Başıbüyük-Samandıra under construction by IMM, D-100 will serve as 2 departure, 2 arrival divided road. Maltepe Prison, Maltepe University and Narcity connections total 3 crossroads will be built. Thus, the transportation time between Büyükyalı and Samandıra intersections will increase from time to time to 1 hours.
Within the scope of the studies, Büyükbakkalköy Neighborhood Kemer Street (Farm Road) Hayat Water and Alkanlar Electricity in the region and causing flooding in rainy times, the creek will take place. With the expansion of stream sections, flooding will be prevented in sudden rains.
CURRENT ROAD WILL BE CLOSED TO DOUBLE WAY TRAFFIC
In order for the road construction and stream improvement works to proceed smoothly, the road in the Kemer Sokak Hayat Su region will be closed to traffic in both directions from Friday, August 23 to Wednesday, September 11. Drivers will be able to use the Büyükbakkalköy road as an alternative route during this time.
