Two important decisions regarding public transportation were taken at the ordinary assembly meeting of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in July. The duration of the 'People's Vehicle Application' launched by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality on April 29 has been extended. The 06.00 percent discounted tariff between 07.00 - 19.00 in the morning and 20.00 - 50 in the evening will be applied one hour earlier in the morning, from 05.00 to 07:00 from now on. With this application, which will be implemented in order to ensure that children take part in social life during their most innocent period, the mother or father who travels with their child will not pay the travel fee thanks to this card. Both articles unanimously adopted by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Council will come into force on 1 August 2019.
