National Brand in Steel Rails

The projects initiated to make rail transportation the priority transportation choice of our people continue rapidly.

Our ongoing and ongoing projects show the change and transformation experienced in the railway sector in our country.

However, for the development of our country, it is not enough to implement these projects.

In addition to these projects, we have to create the domestic and national railway industry of our country and produce and replicate our unique national brands on steel rails.

In TCDD; With our mission and vision in the new period, we have intensified our efforts towards domestic and national production with R & D in cooperation with our subsidiaries and universities by including our local companies.

We prefer to meet our needs from the members of the Anatolian Rail Transportation Systems Cluster (ARUS) and other local suppliers that we lead and establish.

With the participation of TÜBİTAK and TCDD and our Subsidiaries, we carried out a workshop for the development of the domestic and national railway industry in our country for the first time.

Our Subsidiaries TÜLOMSAŞ, TÜVASAŞ and TÜDEMSAŞ have also made significant progress towards domestic and national production.

The production of Marin Motor, E-1000 Electric Locomotive and Hybrid Locomotive has been produced successfully at TÜLOMSAŞ and the production of the New Generation Freight Wagon has been successfully produced at TUDEMSAŞ.

On the other hand, in the TÜVASAŞ Gövde Aluminum Body Production Factory ğ which we opened in June with the contributions of our Minister M. Cahit Turhan in TÜVASAŞ, the railway vehicles required by our country will be produced as domestic and national brands.

As a result, we are moving fast and confidently towards creating national brands on our national railways.
