At the ordinary assembly meeting of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in July, KarşıyakaAn important proposal on the phaetons in Istanbul was brought up.
With the UKOME decision dated May 30, the proposal from the Presidency for the purchase of carriages and horses, which are forbidden to be trafficked by the Metropolitan Municipality, was sent to the Plan for Animal Protection and Plan. According to the proposal, which will pay 7 thousand 500 for horses used in carriage transportation and 5 thousand TL for carriages, the horses purchased will be taken into İzmir Wildlife Park and will be used in landscape parks and gardens.
