1294 muhtars in İzmir will benefit from public transportation vehicles free of charge during weekday working hours. In line with the decision taken in the Metropolitan Municipality Council, muhtars will be able to get on the buses, metro, tram, suburban trains and ferries without paying. For free transportation, they just need to show their muhtar identity cards.
