General Director of TCDD, Ali İhsan Uygun, 25, organized by International Railways Association (UIC) in Budapest, Hungary, on June 2019. He was elected as Vice President at the General Assembly.

Mr. Uygun was “unanimously ine elected as Vice President of the UIC, which was established to develop cooperation between railway organizations around the world and to carry out all activities related to the development of railway transport.

TCDD GENERAL MANAGER ALİ İHSAN UYGUN
Ali İhsan Uygun was elected as the UIC Vice President. In 1991, he started to work in Istanbul Anatolian Side Electricity Distribution Company as Network and Facility Engineer.
Between the years 1995-2015 Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Transportation San. ve Tic. A.Ş., from Telecom and Catenary Chief to Deputy General Manager.
Ali İhsan Uygun began his career at TCDD in 2015 as an Assistant General Manager and Board Member. 19 has been the General Manager of TCDD since February 2019.
