A cooperation protocol was signed between Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality and Şanlıurfa Governorship Investment Monitoring and Coordination Directorate (YİKOB) regarding the activities to be realized within the scope of “Community Welfare Services”.
According to the protocol signed by the Mayor of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül and the Governor of Şanlıurfa Abdullah Erin at the ceremony held in the governor's meeting hall; The 24 million TL appropriation transferred by the General Directorate of Provincial Administration of the Ministry of Interior to Sanliurfa Governorate YIKOB will be transferred to the Sanliurfa Metropolitan Municipality for use in projects and services to be carried out within the scope of Community Welfare Services. With the project, which is expected to be approximately 50 million TL with additional works, 90 km of concrete and asphalt road will be constructed. In addition to the appropriation to be transferred by YİKOB, Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality will spend approximately 25 million TL.

Governor Abdullah Erin said, “Wishing that the protocol, which is based on the use of resources for projects aiming to increase the welfare level of the rural residents, will be beneficial. In addition to the 50 million TL resource in YİKOB, our Metropolitan Municipality will transfer as many resources as the partnership understanding. Quality, long-lasting concrete and asphalt road works will be carried out in the central districts of our province Eyyübiye and Haliliye, and in our large districts Siverek and Viranşehir. ”

Without any change in the amount allocated by YİKOB, concrete road constructions planned for the discovery in the annex of the protocol can be changed to BSK or asphalt.
