Educational and Scientific Cooperation Protocol was signed between TCDD and Ankara University on 17 June 2019 Tuesday.
TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun and Ankara University Rector. Dr. Within the scope of the protocol signed by Erkan İbiş; With the training and specialization of TCDD personnel, it was aimed to contribute to increasing the capacity to cope with disasters and raising public awareness.
With the protocol;
• Collaboration on joint scientific (including consultancy, projects and research), educational and managerial studies in consultation with Ankara University Disaster Management Application and Research Center (AFAM),
• TCDD personnel competencies will be improved on Disaster Risk Management,
• Joint scientific activities such as workshops, symposiums, congresses and conferences will be organized,
• TCDD personnel whose conditions are suitable for graduate education will be able to make master's degree in Disaster Risk Management Second Cycle Program without Thesis.
