Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, continues to work to ease the transportation of citizens. In this context 2019 was opened in March in Gebze - Halkalı Gebze Fatih and Çayırova train stations on the suburban line provide access roads for the citizens to reach the D-100 side roads and other points comfortably. Within the scope of the project, a total of one thousand 350 meters connection road is being constructed. While the work on the connection road to Gebze Fatih station is completed, the pavement production is continuing on the connection road to Çayırova Station.
LAND PRODUCTION CONTINUES IN ÇAYIROVA STATION
Gebze - Halkalı The connection road to Çayırova station for the suburban line was covered by 900 meter rain water line and 8 thousand cubic meter filling material. 5 thousand tons of PMT and 300 tons of asphalt paving were carried out and 690 cubic meter stone walls were constructed during the studies. Asphalt paving works are completed on the connection from the street 750 to Çayırova station and the pavement production is currently underway.
FATİH TRAIN STATION CONNECTION ROAD COMPLETED
The pavement, electrical flooring and binder asphalt were built on the 350 meter connection road, which was constructed from Şişecam Road Street to Gebze Fatih Train Station. The works were completed by making a thousand 200 tons of asphalt paving in the connection road where PMT was performed. Transportation Department teams will work on road marking and warning signs in the scope of works.
