Union of Municipalities of Marmara and Kocaeli Mayor Assoc. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın supervised the works on Salim Dervişoğlu Street which will serve as an alternative to D-100 highway and will be turned into a modern double lane road. Mayor Büyükakın stated that the route extending from Izmit to Kartepe will meet the expectations and needs of the citizens. “Salim Dervişoğlu Street will be put into service as a modern double-lane road at the end of 2019”.
