The signature campaign we launched in our newspaper to reduce the number of vehicles and air pollution on the Batman-Diyarbakır railway, save the citizens from the cost of loaded roads and provide safe, fast and cheap travel, was found to be 2 month. While the signatures we collected exceeded 5 thousand, the demand for the bus started to be the priority agenda of Batman. In Batman, non-governmental organizations, political parties, local dynamics, began to partner in the demand for rail.
Zonguldak-Karabük, Çatal-Tire, Kars-Akyaka, Malatya-Elazığ between the provinces of the active rail transportation, Batman-Diyarbakir railway is also expected to be implemented.
The 90 mileage train line between Batman and Diyarbakir is already active. The train line used in passenger transportation is also suitable for rail system. The rail system to be installed at a low cost will also contribute to the state economy. Officers, students and patients who have to travel between Batman and Diyarbakir, will be able to pass the 90 kilometer 40 per minute with rail system. Vehicle traffic, accidents and air pollution will also decrease. Even if there are 1 trips a day, at least 250 will be able to carry a thousand passengers together with the passengers on foot.
