Protocol between General Directorate of Highways and Maps

Cooperation Protocol on the Production and Sharing of Geographical Data within the Scope of the Digitization of Highways Project was signed on 21 May 2019 between the General Directorate of Highways and the Ministry of National Defense Map General Directorate. The protocol at the signing ceremony held at the Directorate General of Map; General Manager Abdulkadir URALOĞLU on behalf of General Directorate of Highways, General Manager Tuğgeneral Osman ALP on behalf of General Directorate of Map.

Within the scope of the cooperation between the two institutions, the data base of the road network and the data and images of the structures such as tunnel and bridge on the road network and the data and images of the structures such as tunnel and bridge will be shared with the General Directorate of Highways. In addition, in line with the agreed protocol, important data such as Orthophoto and YÜKPAF will be made available to the General Directorate of Highways by the General Directorate of Maps.

Thanks to the protocol, time, human resources and spatial savings can be made and more useful works will be provided.
