The ticket prices of the new Eastern Express, which will make its maiden voyage on May 29, have been announced. According to the statements made by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Cahin Turhan, the tickets will be around 400 TL.

Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Cahit Turhan announced that the new touristic Eastern Express will be on its first flight on 29 May. The train, which will depart from Ankara Station at 20.00, will reach Kars after a 27-hour journey. In the new touristic Eastern Express, which will be 120 people, the train will take long breaks in Erzincan and Erzurum during departure, and in Sivas and Bostankaya on return.
In his statements, Minister Turan also gave information about the ticket prices of the new touristic Eastern Express. Stating that the new train has different options with and without bed, Turhan emphasized a price that can be considered "reasonable" by expressing that the prices were determined by TCDD according to these options. According to this, Turhan stated that the ticket price of the new touristic Eastern Express will be around 400 TL, and pointed out that this amount may be slightly higher or higher.
