A sarcophagus was found during the excavations carried out during the High Speed ​​Train (YHT) Project that will connect Ankara and Izmir in the Salihli district of Manisa.

The sarcophagus, which is estimated to have belonged to the Roman period as a result of the examination conducted by the Manisa Museum Directorate, will be moved to the museum after the archaeological studies in the region.
