The General Directorate of Highways was attended by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure M.Cahit TURHAN, General Director of Highways Abdulkadir URALOĞLU and members of the Highways.
At the iftar dinner which started by reading the Qur'an, Minister TURHAN and General Manager URALOĞLU emphasized the importance of Ramadan in their speech.
The month of Ramadan, the rising of religious feelings, increased feelings of compassion voicing URALOGLU, on the occasion of Ramadan by the month of iftar dinner in this organization they see as a family stew with members of the TURHAN and the Highways said they were proud of the pride and peace.
Minister TURHAN stated that he was proud of being a member of the family of Highways by stating that he was pleased to meet with the Ramadan Sultanate of eleven months as the sultan of eleven months where the feelings of brotherhood and cooperation, which are the peak of peace and tranquility, exceeded the limits.
Mentioning that the Highways Organization is a big family, TURHAN said that it is not easy to be a family and that this is a unique treasure. “First of all, we believe in the goodness of our nation and our country, that is, the uniqueness, the beauty of our glory. We are doing our job with love of worship because we believe in these. In our belief, it is charity to lift the stone on the road and make the road unobstructed. With the permission of Allah, we are doing the road itself, rather than taking the stone off the road. We cross mountains with tunnels and seas with bridges. We do all this with the love of worship, the love of the country and the nation. May Allah be pleased with all of you, be the place of our Karayolci elders who come to eternity, heaven, and I commemorate them with mercy. Under the vision and leadership of our President, we have done the things that have not been done so far in our country's transportation history. We will continue to do so. We have great goals and ideals. Thank goodness we have done these with you and we continue to do so. What happens on the highways is a source of pride for all of us. Today in the regions in every part of Turkey, in the branches, the thousands who work in construction sites, tens of thousands of our friend, our contractors and our subcontractors have an important contribution in the realization of this project. On this occasion, I would like to thank you, my dear Karayolcu friends, for your efforts from planning, project design, construction, maintenance, marking of our roads. Our burden is heavy and we will continue to work diligently in order to realize the infrastructures necessary for our country to achieve long-term goals. We will both successfully complete existing projects and implement new projects. TURHAN said that they will continue to show all efforts and determination to develop the country, the nation's development and the Republic's 100th year goals.
